500ml bottle. Cloudy, dark brass colour with average to huge, thick, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Sweet-ish, minimally bready, wheaty malty and yeasty fruity, minimally yeasty spicy aroma, notes of pear, overripe banana, some clove and honey. Taste is sweet-ish, wheaty malty and yeasty fruity, notes of pear, overripe banana, some honey, a yeasty spicy touch of clove. Watery texture, slightly dry, simultaneously minimally cloying palate, medium, foamy, mildly prickly carbonation. Nice fruity flavours, slight Maibock allusions (honey, almost a starchy touch), not overly complex overall - OK.

0.5 l bottle from 'Bierothek' (online), best before November 2023. Hazy, orangeish amber with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, quite yeasty-spicy and slightly fruity-floral aroma of banana, clove, honey and light pear. Quite sweet, malty, moderately bitter, rather yeasty-spicy and slightly fruity-floral taste of banana, clove, honey and some pear, followed by a short, gently bitter finish. Almost full-bodied, smooth and quite effervescent mouthfeel, average to lively carbonation. Pleasant Weizenbock.
