«Pils beers have had mixed fortunes: in some cases their bitterness has been a drawback and this has proved to be an advantage for Helles; that’s why I cared about organoleptic balancing, by producing a beer that is “easy to drink”.
Pils hop flavour is generous, the malted base is fine and bitterness is delicate.

Bottiglia. Il gusto al naso è indirizzato verso l'orzo. L'intensità olfattiva è normale e il modo in cui permane è sufficiente. Il cappello di schiuma resiste abbastanza. La grandezza delle bollicine è a grana medio-fine. Il liquido è di consistenza e anche qui la grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Il colore è giallo dorato brillante. Il corpo è pieno. L'amaro è pronunciato. La forza gustativa è elevata e la durata è buona. Il gusto è piacevole. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di pronta beva. Il finale è amarognolo. Il retrogusto è intenso. Sulla lingua si riportano sentori di miele, frutta secca, luppolo e un accenno di resinoso quasi balsamico.

0.33 l bottle from 'Gastrodrink', best before May 2024. A little hazy, golden yellow with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, quite fruity-floral, slightly grassy-spicy aroma of lemon peel, grains, fresh grass, some white pepper and light gooseberry. Gently sweet, moderately bitter, slightly fruity-floral and a bit grassy-spicy taste of grains, lemon peel, some fresh grass and a touch of gooseberry, followed by a short, quite bitter, slightly peppery, moderately dry finish. Thin to medium body, smooth and gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft to average carbonation. Pleasant Pils, very well-balanced, quite crisp. Nice!
