Bottle shared at Craig’s. Pours clear brown with a creamy tan head. The aroma holds lots of dusty cocoa, light roast, earth and wood. Light sweet flavor with earthy bitterness, burnt wood, ash, slight vanilla. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Moderately roasty on the finish with lingering baking cocoa. Fair.

Cask @ Egham Beer Festival. Opaque black color, average sized beige to light brown head. Smell and taste malts, coffee, coffee roast, dark chocolate. Something weird in the aroma, but it tastes fine. Decent body and carbonation. Fine porter.
