On tap at Bierproeflokaal In De Wildeman, pours a clear pale golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out light champagne notes, gentle funk and a touch of melon. Flavour is somewhat hot, with perfumey champagne, Belgian yeast, and booze. Blended well, but a bit hot and messy. Good.

0.375 l bottle from 'SpeciaalBierPakket.nl', bottled in October 2021. Clear, golden with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, gently yeasty-spicy, slightly fruity-floral aroma of banana, vanilla, clove, some gooseberry and light white grapes. Gently sweet, moderately bitter, minimally sourish, fairly dry, rather yeasty-spicy and slightly fruity-floral taste of banana, clove, vanilla, white grapes, gooseberry and some sparkling wine, followed by a medium long, slightly bitter, minimally tart, dry finish. Medium to full body, rather effervescent mouthfeel, lively carbonation. Great bière brut, typical Belgian-style golden strong ale but with that sparkling wine feel. Love it!
