[ As Mallaskoski Rhubarb Sour ].
ABV: 5.0%. Cloudy - hazy looking with a medium yellow colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, wheat, fruity malt, vintage, sour, yeast, rhubarb touch. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, vintage - oxidide, fruity malt, wheat, rhubarb, light tart touch. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20240107]

Bottle (most likely bought in 2019, just found tucked away in a corner of a shelf in the garage). Deep coppery brown, close to black, colour with a mediumsized foamy off.white head, which leaves some lace. Aroma is toasted, some liquorice, mild ashes, minerals and some sweet malty tones to it. Flavour is quite similar to the elements of the aroma, but also has chocolate kicking in quite strongly.

Bottled. Dark brown, small coarse head. Aroma of tobacco and licorice. Mid dry with light medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Licorice, salmiak and tobacco. Mid bitter finish. Real solid.

Pours dark, almost black and without much carbonation. Nose has light roast, ash and some berries. Taste is similar, quite dry, hops giving a little bit of bitterness, roasted but mild and simple body, slick feeling overall, easydrinking. Very safe beer, but sometimes it is exactly what is needed. Would have liked to see some more carbonation though, now its OK but well, could be better.

Draught @ One pint pub. Poured near black with a thin off white head. Caramel, roastedness, nutty notes. Flavor has roastedness, coffee, licorice. Quite light body.

Bottle, bb 12.2017 (at koht). Pours black with light brownish head. Aroma is sweet, roast, some soap, esthers. Flavor is sweet and bitter, roast, malt, coffee, feels bit milky. Body is on the thinner side. Overall: ok, bit bland and lacks "balls".
