Our 4th bottling of our Solera Sour Wild Project this year (2021). After been working on the Solera project for quite a while now, we decided to go for three different base recipes within this project, with each of them having its own character. This is the first one, a recipe based on wheat. This gives us the opportunity to differentiate in releasing straight from the barrel as well as creating fruited editions. Much more to come!

0.375 l bottle from 'Het Biermoment', best before April 2036. Hazy, deep amber with a medium large, slightly fluffy, quickly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, sourish, gently fruity aroma of old lemon, apple, vanilla, sherry, some vinegar and a touch of wood. Slightly sweet, gently sour, quite fruity and slightly funky taste of old lemon, apple, honey, vanilla, vinegar, vanilla and wood, followed by a short, gently tart, moderately woody-dry finish. Medium body, slightly astringent and gently effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Decent Sour Ale, not overly complex but nicely balanced and quite refreshing.
