Clear, bright orange amber colour with a small cream colored head; aroma of dried fruit; balanced flavor with a long, light bitter finish

Pours deep amber with a small head. The aroma is full of bourbon and there’s some caramel malt. The flavor is sweet and malty with caramel and a whole lot of bourbon. It’s warming and dangerously drinkable at 11%.

Pint can from Corks & Caps, 7/8/24. Clear dark amber, medium tan head, fizzy with poor retention. Aroma of rye, caramel, toast, banana, whiskey, oak. Taste is rye, caramel, toast, vanilla, oak, tart cherry. Mild booze. Tasty.

Bourbon, apple, rye caramel malt, and fresh hay aroma. Chestnut brown with minimal head. Moderately sweet apple, bourbon, caramel, rye malt, and mildly bitter grass/fresh hay flavor. Good body - mild boozy finish.

2024 can from Livonia Liquor. Pours a clear, dark copper with a small bit of beige head that dissipates. Spicy rye aromas on the nose with vanilla, oak and bourbon all present. Pepper, rye bread and vanilla on the palate with warming bourbon. A nice creamy texture on the palate. Really enjoyable BA rye beer.
