Bottled 500ml (Uba ja Humal)
Dark brown color, medium-sized beige head. Belgian yeast, chocolate, figs, berries and alcohol in the nose. Medium-bodied. Dark fruits, alcohol, candy sugar, grassy hops. Quite alcoholic. Despite of description this beer is closer to Abt/Quadrupel than Saison or Black IPA. Boozy, but interesting in small quantities.

Bottle from Alus Celle, Riga/Latvia. Pours dark brown bit of foam, not much though. Drinking this beer now because it was leaking a bit after a long flight and would have probably gotten stale if not drunk asap. Aroma slightly sour, bit of soft roast and dark fruits, prunes. Taste is actually relatively bitter, albeit the body is sweet as a sugar candy. Bitterness lingers for longer, somewhat grassy hop character, leaving raw green apple impression. Body does not feel heavy, quite light and that is all good in my book. Not so sure about the Belgian ingredient in this beer, feels more like a hoppy young barleywine. Overall, well made.

Bottle (shared at koht). Pours dark brown-black with beige head. Aroma is sugar, roast, fruits, salt. Flavor is sweet and bitter, roast, fruits, sugar, sticky, boozy, some apricots. Overall: ok-ish, too boozy and bit messy.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Max’s place. Thanks Vova. Dark brown with a beige head. Messy aroma with malt, caramel, spiciness, toffee, butter, acetaldehyde, yeast, dark fruits. Sweet flavor with caramel, yeast, dark fruits, a bit of butter, spiciness, and a bitterish finish. Medium-bodied. Messy.

Deep brown, moderate off-white head. Smells of roast, coffee, vanilla. Similar taste. Vinous, yeasty. A saison? Still worth to be enjoyed.

Draught at Craft Republi, medium stable fluffy head, pitch black color, aroma of shrubs, charcoal, hints of yeast, spice and vanila, flavor of dark chocolate and charred notes with some alcohol and yeast, a light but noticable sweetness and a dark chocolate charred medium mellow bitterness. Interesting but a bit heavy and unbalanced.
