(Keg at Kaunis Kampela, 20161118) The beer poured amber and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had grain, grass and caramel. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were grass, caramel, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy and bitter. A decent hoppy pale ale with an unconventional hop profile.

Tap at Tommyknocker, Helsinki. Colour is clear orange with small white head. Aromas and flavors: Fruits, some caramel, sweetness, some pine, hops and malts. Can’t find any sign of "significant amounts of hops" mentioned in description. Boring. Must be too old.

Somewhere in Moscow in a bottle: pours hazy copper with an off white head. Aroma is light citrus and malts. Taste is lightly bitter. Surprisingly well balanced for Victory AB.

50cl bottle at Ivan da Marya, St.Petersburg. BBe 06/2016... Poured amber in color with a thin white head. Caramel malty, dark fruity, hoppy, intense aroma, some pine as well. Flavor has grapefruity notes, wood and pine , caramel malty sweetness. Too bad it was an old bottle, not that much hops in the aroma anymore. Probably quite nice fresh one would imagine. Quite massive, but good drinkability.

Bottle @ LIBF’16. Shared with the RB Belgian team.

16/V/16 - bottle @ Leuven Innovation - BB: n/a (2016-545) Thanks to the Belgian RB crew for sharing today's beers!

Clear orange beer, small creamy off-white head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: bit sweet, melons, hoppy, some butterscotch, hint of diacetyl, caramel malts. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: very fruity and hoppy start, bitter, little buttery, bit sweet, malty. Aftertaste: hoppy, dry, bit resinous, fruity, melons, dry bitter finish. Would be pretty good if it weren't for the diacetyl.
