Well kept cask ale, half-pint, shared with Finn at Bacchus. Fawn-coloured head resting over a coal black body, spotty lacing. Slightly roasted chocolate malts on the nose, semi-sweet, appealing. Chocolate dominates the taste character, lactose sweetness behind. Rounded, mid-sweet malt-driven close, lightly roasted. Pleasing to a certain degree. (Newcastle upon Tyne, 19.03.2024).

Delt med Rune. Svart. Lavt tett mokkafarget skum. Litt lacing. Lett sjokokladearoma. Smaken myk. Melkesjokolade. Tørr avslutning.

Cask @ The Pub, Todmorden. Black with a frothy head. Its coffee is gritty and prevalent, and lasts long in its aftertaste. There’s plenty in aroma too.

Good. Nicely balanced between the coffee and the sweetness.
