Tap at Cap Tap. Pours dark brn/blk with a tan head. Aroma is toasty coconut, smooth dark malt, maybe some chocolate, with light rum notes. Fullish body. Flavor is toasted coconut, hint of musty wood, definite rum with heat. It is tasty stuff.

66cl Bottle at RBESG 17 Grand Tasting. Black colour, beige head. Aroma of pure coconut and booze. Flavour of some roasted malts, brown sugar, coconut, artificial. Medium bodied. Not great.

(Sample from a bottle at RBESG 2017 Grand Tasting) The beer poured black. Its head was small and white. Aroma had wood, vineousness and burnt malts. Palate was full bodied and dry with medium carbonation. Flavours were wood, vanilla, burnt malts, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste had liquorice, burnt malts, ash and bitterness. Aftertaste was woody, burnt and bitter.

Bottle at RBESG 2017 Grand Tasting. Very dark brown color. Aroma of rancid coconut. Taste is coconut and burnt rubber. Holy cow.

Tastes like lagered roast. Pours black with good head and lacing. Caramel. A little syrupy for my liking. Tap at Savor.
