Sensory Session # 118: Clear, golden color and a nice white head. Pineapple und Citrus Aroma in the nose, hoppy. Old school flavors, tangerine, orange and Grapefruit peel, piny and dryish Finish.

Aus der Dose (bbe 31.05.2025) im 2024-07 getrunken. Beim Einschenken ins Glas zeigt dieses trüb, goldene Ale ein leichtes Citrusaroma was aber 2-3 Minuten aber dann vollkommen verschwindet. Was bleibt war dann nur noch ein Grapefruit-Haut-Aroma wo sich eine typische und eindimensionale Hopfenbitterkeit breit macht. Nein meins Ale ist es nicht.

330ml can bought at a shop, St Pancras train station. Shared with Finn on a LNER train from London to Newcastle. Next-to clear golden body, remaining white head, far lacing. Moderate citrus smell. Citrus to the taste buds, orange and grapefruit. Refreshing hop fruity finish. Decent. (18.03.2024).

330ml can. Cloudy, yellow-ish, dark golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Citrusy fruity, hoppy aroma, sweet-ish, pale malty background, notes of orange, mandarine, some pineapple, a tropical fruity touch as well. Taste is crisp, moderately bitter and slightly tropical fruity hoppy, hints of pineapple, guava, some zesty bitterness, pale malty basis with low residual sweetness; mineral finish. Watery texture, slightly dry palate, medium, mildly prickly carbonation. Ligth and refreshing, easy drinkable - nice.
