Svart med lys brunt skum. Lukter kakao, kaffe og noe blomster. Lett. Smaker bitter mørk sjokolade, kaffe, havre og mørk sirup. Middels lang.

100ml, draught, sample tray outside at Nedre Foss Gård. Deep black body with a ruby glint to it, low off-white head, spotty lacing. Roasted black malty nose. The taste profile follows suit with black malts, hints of liquorice and black chocolate. Well roasted malty finish. Decent stuff. (Oslo, 17.08.2024).

Svart. Lavt skum med litt farge. God sjokoladearoma. Smaken kakao & lakris. Litt søt. Forsiktig tørr avslutning. Bra 4,7-øl.

Tap @ Nedre Foss Gård (restaurant). Ordered together with my aperitif oysters. Clear, dark brown, close to black body under a moderate sized, dense tan head. Aroma has mild toasted, dark malt. Taste is medium sweet, toasted dark malt, hint of brown sugar, slightly piny and some balanced bitterness. Balanced body with same aftertaste. Well made and surprisingly balanced for a 4.7% beer. Also a good match for my oysters.
