This collab (merger) with Siren was inspired by neighbouring Slough, the spiritual home of The Office. Steve and the team bombed it down the M4 at 70mph - tops - to brew a lean modern style West Coast IPA with us.

Made with 100% Pilsner malt, we fermented cold with lager yeast minimising malt profile and esters to let the hops do all the talking. We've used a blend of US and NZ hop varieties, with Simcoe and Columbus cryo combining with Riwaka.

Reminiscent of those clear gummy bears you used to love as a kid, citrus and pineapple sweetness is all balanced by a firm lingering bitterness.

Can at home, 30th December 2023. Pours a hazy yellow. Aroma is citrus, lemons, aromatic, pine. Taste is a little bitter, lemons, citrus and pine, some malts. OK, not great for the style

Keg at the brewery. Aroma is grainy, malty, light fruit. Opaque gold. Thin foamy white head. Medium bitter resinous intro, followed by tangy juicy fruit (inc citrus) which also has a sugariness to it. Light-medium bodied. Slick..Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. Fruity yet bitter.

440ml can shared with Finn at Siren Tap Yard. A hazy, golden body, bubbles on the surface leaving rings of lace down the glass. Floral citric nose, inviting. Grapefruit up front to the taste profile nicely mixed with soft malts. Semi-dry hop fruity tail. Fine depth. Pretty good. (Finchampstead, 01.10.2023).

440ml can. Clear golden, white head. Aroma of citrus, pine, earthy savoury notes. Taste of citrus, grapefruit, pine, resin, finishing with slightly unpleasant earthy savoury notes presumably curtesy of Riwaka. What a terrible hop to add to this otherwise lovely WC IPA. Bitterness is fine - not great, not terrible. It's another Ruined By Riwaka™ beer.

Delt med Rune. Stråfarget. Nesten klar. Høyt kremaktig skum som daler sakte. Sitrusaroma. Smaken tørket frukt. Mest grapefrukt. Tørr bitter avslutning.
