Panda at home, thanks to Kenneth, 15/10/2025.
Moderately hazed orange amber topped with a lasting off white head.
Nose is orange peel, herb, hedgerow, light breads, soft malts.
Taste comprises bitter orange, herb, grass, hedgerow, citric tinged straw, melon. biscuit crumbs.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spliced with mellow leafy hop bitterness.
Not bad.

Can. Added as a pale ale because IPA doesn't allow you to reflect the right substyle. Update, I see some anonymous admin thinks they know better and has updated to IPA. Whatever! A mild haze on this orange beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head that lasts no time at all. Light palate, semi dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Light bodied malts but, certainly not lacking in flavour, the Chevalier richness comes through with aplomb, a kinda wet hay element to it. Hops bring crisp ripe citrus and a little marmalade. Crisp pine and fair hop spice nip. Some floral citrus out the back end. Crisp finish. Much as I love US, Kiwi and Aussie hops, I really do wish British brewers would pay more attention to home grown ingredients. Such a refreshing change. 8

Cask-conditioned at the Bridge Inn, Bristol December 2023. Deep amber in colour, with a slight, white, head. A touch of floral hop, biscuity malts, some red berry and apricot sweetness, leading to a dryish finish. Enjoyable.

Keg at Captain Cooks, Östersund. Indeed it was a very English IPA with a nice grippy ending and English hop profile...which were perhaps a little jacked up for a trad English IPA but no complaints. Quite intense, makes you queasy (3/4/24).

Can from Appellation Wines. Appearance - murky orange and a foamy white head. Nose - mainly orange and orange zest, some melon. Taste - zesty orange again, sweet melon and nectarine. Palate - creamy texture, medium bodied, zesty finish. Overall - good stuff!
