Cask at The Eltham GPO. Strong citrus nose. Lots of bittersweet fruits in the taste. Long bitter finish.

(Cask at Holy Tavern, Clerkenwell, London, 20 Nov 2024) Golden amber colour with foamy, off-white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with notes of citrus, mixed fruit, grass and peaches. Fruity nose with mixed fruit, peaches, grass, citrus, white bread and a balanced citric/grassy bitterness. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Clean and crisp. Nice one.

Draught, half-pint at Holy Tavern. Clear amber-gold body, filmy layer, upper part lacing. Moderate smell of caramel malts and dusty hops. Mid- sweet flavours of caramel malts offset by ripe citrus. Drying close with far away bitterness. Fair enough (Clerkenwell, London 28.09.2023).

På Holy Tavern (tidl. Jerusalem Taven). Mørk stråfarget. Tett filmskum. Tynn teppelacing. Forsiktig karamellaroma. Smaken smørmalt. Tørr, forsiktig bitter avslutning.

Cask at The Jerusalem Tavern, Farringdon. Sold as a more citrusy golden ale, it certainly deliverer in that respect. At first a little too much hitting with the citrus hops for my liking in a golden but it was offset by this butch cask bitterness at the end. Made me very happy. (30/10/21) ---- Cask at The Holy Tavern, Farringdon. Same place, different (lamer) name. Less excitement. 3.4 to 3.3.
