Cask ale at Mad Squirrel Tap and Bottle Shop. Shared with Finn. Clear brownish body, lacing rings down the glass, covering off-white head. Inviting smell of caramel-fruits. Fine blended taste of biscuit, caramel malts, and dried fruits. Ends on the sweet side of bittersweet. Quite easy to drink and to like. (St. Albans 18.02.2023)

Delt med Rune på Mad Squirrel Tap St Albans. Mørk gylden. Klar. Lavt luftig skum. Aroma av kjeks & frukt. Myk munnfølelse. Smaken søt frukt & karamell. Så vidt litt tung bitterhet i avslutningen.

Cask at Mad Squirrel High Wycombe, 20/01/23. Amber pour with a good sized off white cap formed of thinly knit bubbles. Nose is caramel, brown bread, fruit cake mix, biscuit. Taste comprises dried fruits, toffee, toasted brown sugar, dried fruit rinds. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close with a light bitter edge. Solid ESB ... a rather good flavour profile.

More of a Brown Ale than a Bitter. Lacking identity in marketing terms and looks better than it tastes

Cask at Mad Squirrel, Amersham, Bucks. A dark amber/brown coloured pour with a medium off white head on top. Rich, malty, slightly sweet, caramel taste and aroma. Really enjoyable ESB from Mad Squirrel.
