Big refreshing citrus flavours of grapefruit, lemon and lime are at the fore, rounded off with tropical and floral notes. Citra Blonde has a light malt character and assertive bitterness which allows the Citra hop character to shine.

Cask, pint at the Grill. It pours clear deep golden - amber with a decent white head. The aroma is more of a floral character that classic US style citra, orange blossom, sweetish, hay, straw, hint of citrus, cereal, grain and biscuit. The taste is crisp, dry, bitter - sweet, touch of tannin, grain, cereal, floral vibes, straw, weak waxy citrus and peppery spice with a drying, sort of grainy finish. Average body and soft carbonation. Doesn't feel like a whole lot of hops were used, as the malt base makes its voice heard. Fair enough.
