Bottle. It pours a hazy golden colored body with lots of carbonation, under a huge, everlasting, white head. Nice lacing. The aroma is lighlty spiced, a bit difficult to sort out which but at least cardamom seems to be present. Some ginger hints too, but according to the label none is present. Cinnamon and turmeric are though. Some yeasty hints too, as well as a generic fruityness, honey and some bready malts. It's medium to full-bodied, quite heavily carbonated, and semi-sweet, with a distinct honey and spice flavor. Bready malts, generic fruityness and some pine cones and caramel in the flavor. Appropriate levels of bitterness too. Medium length finish. Feels a bit messy this one, which might be caused by the lively carbonation. Not very Christmasy in my book, but far from bad though. 211122

Slightly unclear dark golden body under a big, stable off-white head. Aroma has pale malt and relatively much honey that dominates above the spices the way I’m not able to recognize any particular type of spices, but it feels like some kind of Christmas spirit in the nose. Taste is malt, hint of some biscuit, quite much honey in taste as well together with the mild Christmas spices. Feels a bit unbalanced or at least unexpected for the first sip, then it seems to settle and taste more integrated. Balanced body and quite strong aftertaste. Still the honey is more present than the spice part.
