From bottle at a tasting @ Bor’s, with Borresteijn, Zlotta, Markoijelena, Adamnowek, Skortila, MarcodL and Harmen. Dark color (not black). Uneven off white to beige head. Aroma’s: sweet, malty, light roast. Also drop/licorice retronasal. Flavor is rather sweet, sweet drop. Light bodied. Finishes slightly roasted, light bitter and dry. A bit too sweet for a Schwarz, but pleasant enough.

Sampled from 0.65 l bottle at Borresteijn’s place, best before January 2017. Clear, very dark brownish red with a tan head. Sweetish-malty, slightly roasty aroma of dark chocolate, some coffee and some caramel. Sweetish-malty, slightly roasty taste of caramel, dark chocolate and some coffee, followed by a short, slightly roasty-bitter finish. Medium body, slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Okay!
