One-third pint, tap, sample tray at The Rake. Filmy layer over a pale golden body, spotty lacing. Moderate grapefruit nose. Wheat fruity flavours with a citric bite. Hints of citrus to a short ending. Thin and rather empty. Drinkable. (Borough, Greater London 07.11.2022).

Keg at Hampshire Oktoberfest. Aroma is odd - I guess it's extremely wheaty?! Would expect an edge from the grapefruit but not really getting that. Hazy pale gold. Thin creamy whispy white head. Unlike the aroma the grapefruit (and orange) zest really hits with a big sour flava. It's a sour. Light. Thin. Average-fizzy carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. For the Wheat Ale description this is basically a citrusy sour.
