Inspired by visits to The Mary Rose Museum and the spices that can be found on display, this unique pale ale brings and intriguing aroma with savoury notes of cracked pepper and spice combining with bright citrus fruits. Wheat and oats in the body of the beer lends a bready sweetness which is complemented by the savoury yeast profile.

Can bought at Runcton Farm Shop. Hazy orange tinged gold. Lively thick fluffy foamy glass attempts to flee the glass. Spicy with a fruity sweet streak. Latter appearance if resinous bitterness. More spice. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Hmmm. A Pale Wheat Ale, huh. Then sesxribed a s pale ale with soice in the blurb. More like a Hopfenweiise than anything else. (Or a Hopfenwit.) Enjoyable, though.

Half-pint, draught at Powder Monkey Taphouse. Shared with Finn. Big white tophead, pale golden body with a haze of wheat, rings of lace down the glass. Inviting wheat fruity aromas, mid-sweet. Quite similar flavours of fruity wheat, banana yeast and mild spices. Mid-sweet wheat fruity ending. Soft on the swallow. Quite alright. (Gosport 19.10.2022).

Delt med Rune. Lys gylden. Nesten klar. Høyt luftig skum som blir film. Lett bananaroma. Smaken mere banan. Tørr, gjæraktig avslutning.
