Bottle. Near clear deepish amber beer, small bubbly pale tan head. Light palate, mildly dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Somewhat thin bodied malts, a thin malt cream and caramel that isn't that sweet. A bitterness in the mid that is vaguely woody. Back end has those Belgian candy sugar flavours coming through but never overheating. The bottom and yeasty part of the bottle is much more hazy and increases the bitterness. The clear part was a decent take on a Belgian beer. The yeasty part went down the sink.

330ml bottle bought at The Real Ale Store. Shared with Finn. Steady pearl white head to a near-clear amber-orange coloured body, fair lacing. Yeasty fruitiness and mid-sweet malts on the nose, inviting. Rich taste of dried fruits, Belgian yeast strain, mild caramel and a cherry note. Rounded, warming dried fruity finish. Gets quite sweet in the long run. Decent nightcap though. (Hotel room, Nottingham 15.10.2022).
