Bottle picked up from a Globus, Plattling and consumed at home Friday 26th April after a walk up the local for a couple of beers. We've got the already prepared Pork and Lemongrass Meatballs with Noodles for tea tonight. I could actually start this review exactly the same as last night's, it pours clear gold with a large white head, difference being compared to last night is that this has a touch of haze. However I am going to add exactly what I said yesterday, so ....this is an interesting beer, if I were blindfolded and told to determine what style this is I honestly wouldn't have guessed at first, that said I actually like it. Ok so after that I must say that it doesn't strike me as an English Special Bitter (ESB), nice beer but not what it's setting out to be. Some citrus and a prolonged bitterness, okay some might argue it sounds like an ESB but for me no it's not.

0,33 l bottle. Clear golden in the glass with a nearly two steady white foamy head. Pale graony aroma, som citrus, hints of vinegar. Taste starts grainy, some hop bitterness and citrus. Increasing hop bitterness in the second part with caramel. Smooth palate. Mid carbonation. Long lasting bitter aftertaste.
