330ml bottle from Stockmann, tallinn as Norrby Dunkel. Pours brown, lightly murky, some beige foam on top. Caramel, sweet fudge with light hop notes in the nose, not really much of anything else there. Tastes sweet, more of that caramel and light herbal bitterness in the middle, turing into still sweet but a bit dried bitterish finish. Not that bad, just not really the beer I would want to drink very often.

Bottled (tnx Rönne!). Deep brown colour with a mediumsized beigeish brown head, which leaves some lace. Aroma is rye bread, some chocolate, mild nutty notes as well as some floral and grassy hops to it. Flavour is roasted malts, some chocolate, grassy and floral hops with mild burnt sugar to it as well. Quite simple, but still bodied and nice. Good one to have with BBQ’d food for instance.

Many thanks to my Secret EU-Santa martjoobolut for this bottle! Dark fruity roasted nose. The beer starts very fruity on one and great roasted malty on the other side. Fresh floralness of smooth fresh hops, round and mild, roasted and smooth with a great roasted malty depth. Very nice!

(Bottle, 0.33 l - BBE 01/2017 - as Vormsi Norrby Dunkel, at Silja Serenade, 20151026) The beer poured dark brown and clear. Its head was medium sized and nearly white. Aroma had chocolate, molasses and grass. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, chocolate, sweetness, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet and bitter. A bit messy brew that had good characteristics and then something that wiped the good parts away.

Bottle @ Tallink ferry. Pours deep brown with a thin off white head. Medicine notes, anise, licorice aroma. Flavor has medicine, roasted malt, slight burntness, aniseed. Bitter hoppy finish. Tasty stuff!

33 cl bottle @ home, BBE 09/2015
Aroma is mild with some roasted malt, nuts and hints of hay. Also some wood. Flavour is sweetish with ripe fruits, bready malt, nuts and Somewhat malty palate. Finishes with some menthol and grassy hops. Surprisingly good and clean for a Vormsi beer. Some slight sourness can be observed after some sips though; also mild buttery tones occur at the middle of the glass.
