In 2014, Damm launched Daura Märzen, the first double malt gluten-free beer. It is a different, special beer; stronger, with more body and flavour than Daura gluten-free beer, but with the same guarantee of quality. Daura Märzen has an intense flavour and an alcohol by volume (ABV) of 7.2%, and, like Daura, its gluten content is less than 3 parts per million (ppm).

Bottle (from comarket). Pours brownish amber with whiteish head. Aroma is sweetness, cardboard, grains, some esthers. Flavor is sweet and bitter, malt, caramel, grains, cardboard, booze. Herinnering niet heel scherp meer (teruggehaald van foto). Uit fles gedronken, mooie kleur. Niet heel veel indruk gemaakt, maar wel lekker.

Clear medium amber colour, tall loose foamy white head, mostly diminishing, good lacing. Aroma sweet malts, caramel, candy sugar. Smooth mouthfeel, taste light heavy sweet and slightly bitter, malty, spicy notes. In the middle part sharp spicy maltiness with an undertone of liquorice. Malty sweetbitter aftertaste, sugary, light alcoholic, medium body, slick texture, soft carbonation, okay.
