(Bottle, Stockholm Beer & Whisky Festival, 7 Sep 2024) Black colour with brief head. Malty, roasted, vinous nose with notes of coffee, dark chocolate, oak wood, vanilla and bourbon. Malty, vinous taste with espresso, dark chocolate, cacao, soy sauce, oak wood and a balanced roasty bitterness in a fairly boozy finish. Full body, quite sweet. Rich and tasty, possibly a bit on the boozy side. Very nice.

Opaque colour, tiny brownish head. Burnt coffee, licorice and alcohol in the nose. Medium-bodied. Roasted malts, whiskey, booze. Has ageing potential.

--Bottled at PBF XIV. -- Black, small head. Caramelly nose with some licorice and faint wood. Licorice, syrup and treacle. Intensely warming finish.

Bottled@pbf XIV. Black colour, small brown head. Aroma is tar, liquorice, some roasted tones with mild peppery and meaty tones. Flavour is liquorice, some chocolate, nutty and mild alcohol to it.

37,5cl bottle at PBF XIV 2024. bottle 099/666. Poured black in color, off white head. Licorice and roasted malts, plummy notes and some wood. Not really that much bourbon notes. Some tartness in the finish. Warming.
