Based on the German Christmas biscuit of the same name, the Pfeffernüsse Stout brings together a rich, malty stout with the perfect blend of festive spice. Ginger and cinnamon dominate the nose with biscuity malts and warming spices joining on the palate.

Keg @ Bundobust Brewery, Manchester before watching Pigs x 7 play a storming set at Albert Hall. Pours very dark with a beige topping. Confident spice encompassing ginger and cinnamon comes through nicely on the nose, emerging again on the palate. Excellent spice presence, complimented well with nice roasted malts, and chocolate notes perhaps. An excellent accompaniment to the Indian food.

440ml can – Pours a deep brown to black colour with an average sized, mostly lasting foamy beige head. The aroma is roasted malts, ginger, cinnamon with light chocolate and cardamon notes. A sweet spice and malty taste, roasted malts, cinnamon, ginger bread, cardamon and light chocolate flavours with a light dry roasted spicy finish.
