Can. Xmas gift from the missus. Clear dark cola brown. Thin beige foam. Nose has the cinnamon first off then the ginger then roast coffee bean malts. Taste is semi sweet and semi dry. Touch of spice. Minimal bitterness. Drinks easy and medium bodied. Dry light spicy finish. Nicely done festive job.

Cask by stillage at One Inn The Wood, Petts Wood on 10th November 2025. Deep sepia black with transient, non-lacing foam. Spiced malt aroma. Herby spices, leafy hops and burnt maltiness in-mouth with a finish of spiced roasty malts. Velvet smooth mouthfeel and a medium body.

Can at Havnens Vin Og Tobakhus Juleølsmagning 2025. Pours opaque black with small white head. Aroma is intense dried ginger, malt, black pepper, pine needles, and honey. Taste is medium to very sweet, medium bitter, and light salty. Body is oily with medium carbonation. Finish is long and medium sweet and medium bitter with intense notes of dried ginger, black pepper, mild chili, malt, and spice. Too much dried ginger for my taste.

On tap at Board Room Folkestone. Black beer lasting tan head. Spice on aroma. Spice on the flavour. Not my favourite thing. Bit too much nutmeg for me. Some stout character. Some roast malt. Smooth in the mouth. Some bitterness on the finish but mostly a Spice beer.
