Cask ale, half-pint after breakfast at Coronet (JDW). Clear amber body, rich white head leaving clingy lacing on the glassware. Moderate smell of dried fruits and soft malts. Slightly perfumed hop fruity taste followed with a nice vibe of resinous bitterness to the finish. Pretty decent. (London, 07.12.2023).

Pigs Ear. Cask. Almost clear gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is airy and fairly dry, decent fine carbonation. Light dry pale malts, a little thin creamy sweetness and a fair bit of smoke. Smoke? FFS! Sticklebract hops bring a light and pleasing resinous citrus and much milder tropical fruits. Light dry finish. Decent Sticklebract showcase, I need the smoky malts in this beer like a hole in the head. FFS!
