Can. A more or less black one, with a ring of beige bubbles. Sweetish, roasted aroma with vanilla, licorice, hints of soy and molasses, and a pleasant alcohol touch. It's full bodied, warming and smoothly carbonated, lightly sticky, with a bitter touch. Roasted malts, coffee, dark dried fruit, licorice and molasses in the flavor, sweet. Lightly charcoalish in the sweet finish. A quite complex and tasteful one, not too pastry-ish. Might be that cellaring did it good. 240806

330 ml can, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 11%. Black colour, moderate to small tan head. Aroma of chocolate, vanilla, mild coffee, roast malts, caramel and lactose. Sticky mouthfeel. Sweet and cloying flavour, with the same elements as the aroma, moderate bittering hops.

330ml can from Vinmonopolet Langnes. Dissiapting tan head, upper part lacing, black in the glass. Inviting aromas of roasted grainy malts. Powerful taste of creamy chocolate, oats, and sugar, hints of spices. Roasted black malty finish, warmth from the alcohol, sweet. Well bodied. Pleasing one-hour sipper. (Tromsø, 02.03.2023).
