Transparent dark in the glass and an ok head Ok intensity in the aroma Balanced sweetness and a fine carbonation level Easy to drink Toffee, fruity, chocolate and some vanilla in the flavor Unusual porter [On tap at Drunken Chefs in Halden, Norway]

200ml draught at Piccadilly Pub. Clear ruby-black body, filmy layer, rings of lace down the glass. Mid-dry, roasted malty aromas, moments of earthy chocolate. Nutty cocoa- chocolate flavours, sweet and dry, lactose backbone. Ends with mid-sweet chocolate malts. Fine depth. On the sweet side, but tasty and nice. (Bodø 22.02.2023).

Tap @ Onkel Oskar, Mo i Rana. Clear, deep amber body under a to finger thick, dense, lacing off-white head. Quite complex aroma of malt, caramel, nuts, chocolate and some kind of spicy touch. Taste is sweet, but not too sweet with caramel malt, chocolate, nuts, spices and balanced bitterness. Tastes more than less just like expected from aroma. Balanced body with a long lasting aftertaste ending a bit sweet and spicy warm. A really nice ‘pastry’ porter or something that’s making a fine combination of actual beer flavors and other stuff without ending up like a silly thing to please the non-beer drinkers.
