Musta Suuga Krants is a tribute to Estonian hop growers. To those curious and incredible ones who grow hops despite the fact that Estonia is situated too far north to cultivate hops.

This beer is a special version of Blackmouth Cur where Cascade hops, grown in America, are replaced with the ones grown in Estonia. No other alterations to the recipe were made. So you can take the good old Blackmouth Cur and taste for yourself how different growing locations affect the hops.

33cl bottle from Rimi Supermarket, Tallinn. Pours dark amber with a fairly modest off-white head. Malty and caramelly aroma with mild fruity and hoppy notes. Medium sweet and certainly more malty then expected, some hoppy and slightly floral notes and fairly mild bitterness. Fair enough, seems to go fairly well with food, but a bit boring alone.
