Poured into a teku glass showing dark translucent brown, well filtered and practically transparent. The nose is practically the same as ginger ale. The palate is cloying - if not for it being chilled so much that it numbs my tongue a bit.

Bottle from the brewer’s own stand at the Good Food Show at Birmingham NEC. Gold in colour; thin and fairly fizzy. Sweet with a mild to mid ginger burn. There’s not a lot else to it and the sweetness grows as you drink more. Definite alcopop territory here, but more drinkable than most alcopops though.

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a lazing orangey head. The aroma has notes of ginger, malt, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of ginger, malt, and caramel, leading to to bitter finish.

cloudy orange, smooth light yellow head. aroma is mainly ginger, with some fruity notes to it. flavor is sweet malty, loads and loads of ginger, leading to a spicy bitter peppery chili like finish. low rate bc i can’t imagine finishing a pint of this.

Pours a darker-golden pink, with a white head that reduces next to zip quickly. Nose? Ginger! Big fat ginger and a wee touch of malt in the back, but that was only because I was looking for it. Tastes way sweeter than I would have thought, ginger, and once again the malt in the back. Really this stuff is pop. Suppose looking at this purely as know-what-you’re-getting this might be a alright cooler type thing, but as a beer, which is how I am judging it? Nope.

Deep gold with a thin white head and almost no fizz. As others have noted, this had no malt character at all, instead tasting like an alcoholic ginger ale. Not unpleasant as such, but is this even a beer?
