33cl bottle from Drink shop, Tallinn. Pours almist clear golden with a small, white head. Mild malty aroma with some fruity and lightly herbal notes, caramel and hints of grass. Medium sweet with moderate flavour intensity, slightly herbal and quite interesting, but a bit to mild for my taste. Interesting ale and quite nice, but not entirely convincing. (Batch #73)

Bottle 330ml (BB 04/2015, aitäh Maire!)
Golden-amber color, vanishing white head. Light fruity aroma. Medium-bodied. Sweetish pineapple fruity with late bitterness. Candyish. Feels somewhat flat and homebrewish. Not the best batch from Õllenaut.

(Bottle, 0.33 l - batch 073 - BB 08/04/2015, at Põrgu, 20141228) The beer poured amber and rather clear. Its head was small, sparse and white. Aroma had caramel, earth and toffee. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, toffee, herbalness, earth and bitterness. Aftertaste was malty and bitter. A decent but a bit harsh pale ale.

330 ml bottle. Pours hazy yellow-brownish. No head, flat. Aroma is yeasty, has some sweetness and also some kind of weird plastic / paint character to it. I also get some caramel once the beer warms. Taste is full, quite malty. There aren’t much hops to speak about and the ones there are are funky and probably I know now that this paint character was coming from the hops. As they are supposed to be "wild Estonian hops" then I guess it’s all good. Aftertaste is short, only a slight bitterness lingering on the roof of my mouth. Overall nice try, drinkable and maybe even gets that "Estonianess" - by feeling a bit like homebrew and by being rough on edges. Would like to see Õllenaut to try making some sahti/koduõlu though, that’s real "Estonian".
