This Speedway pays tribute to the deep history and vibrant coffee culture of New Orleans. For this brew, we have added coffee and chicory to give a richer, earthier, and nuttier brew to capture the essence of the city's beloved coffee tradition in every sip. Cheers!

Can 16oz (Kihoskh web)
Opaque colour, small beige head. Balanced coffee, vanilla, roasted nose. Medium-bodied. Coffee dominates, bold roasty maltyness, pepperness all in robust balanced package. One of the best coffee beers I've for a while.

473mL can. Pours black with tan head. Aroma has roasted malts, coffee, cinnamon, cloves, herbs. Flavour has very well-blended; roasted malts, coffee, cinnamon & clove, dry wood. Very good, but maybe a bit too harsh.

16 oz. can, pours black with a small light brown head. Aroma is very dry, with medium roasted malt, light herbaceous notes, and light coffee. Flavour is very rich, with lots of very dry, dark roasted coffee, lots of nuttiness, some earthiness and bitterness from the chicory. Quite a bit of bitterness for a Speedway, which I assume is down to the chicory. It's a bit harsh for a Speedway, but still retains many of its higher qualities.

16oz can from Tavour. Black pour, small beige head dissipates. Roasty aroma, coffee. Taste is roast, bitter. I am guessing the rest is chicory, but am not familiar with that flavor . Pretty good.

Can picked up from Beer Republic webshop Breda Netherlands and consumed at München Marriott Airport Hotel, Freising, Saturday 25th May. Pours black with a mid sized beige head. Plenty of coffee, milk chocolate, a touch fruity and with vanilla and roasty malts on the nose. These aromas transfer into the mouth, smooth, warming. It's good but far from amazing.

Tap at the brewery. Pours dark brn/blk with a tan head. Aroma is coffee and something else. Full bodied. Flavor is coffee and a lot of chicory. Not dry but not sticky. Bitter for sure.
