473ml can. Pours a hazy yellow orange with a medium, foamy, long lasting, off-white head that leaves soapy curtains of lace. Sweet fruity aroma of bready wheat malt, orange, apricot, overripe pineapple and floral hops. Sweet fruity flavour of bready wheat malt, tangerine, mango, apricot and light piney hops in a dry, mild bitter finish. Medium body with a thick, creamy, smooth texture and soft carbonation. Juicy and delicious.

Super hazy golden and pale straw coloured body with a pretty thick, three to four centimetre tall slightly soapy off-white head that stays afloat nicely. Aroma of sugars with some lactose, apricots, stone fruits and subtle citrus fruit notes with some noticeable bitterness from the alpha acids in the hops and a seemingly nice layer of malt to support. Medium to Full-bodied; Pretty deep and pungent bitterness that hits from the hops with a noticeable citrus bite, some grapefruit and lemons with a good balance of deeper malts that have some bite, too along with a nice touch of alcohol and warmth. Aftertaste is pretty rich, with a good kick of fruits here that go well with the rich and noticeable hops and associated alpha acid bitterness, balanced well with a good layer of sweetness and alcohol. Overall, a surprisingly good beer that was much more old school than new school, with a hazy look, but still bitter, deep and pungent flavour that shows some Imperial Status despite being pretty 'normal' in alcohol! Great to try from British Columbia and recommended if you can find it, even to cart this thing back across Canada and the USA like I did! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Broadway Liqour in South Vancouver, British Columbia on 01-July-2022 for CA$4,75, best by 03-July-2022 and sampled at my house here in Washington on 16-August-2022.

473mL can, pours a hazy bright amber orange with a large white head with long retention. Aroma bursts with tropical fruits, especially mango and guava, along with bright citrus hops, and oats. Flavour is bright and juicy, with lots of juicy tropical notes -- again, lots of guava and mango -- with a powerful citrus hop character, not too much chalk, and a caramel malt base that holds things together. Amply hopped, very juicy, and minimal chalk. A very well-done hazy, all the more surprising that Phillips did this.

Can from The Gull, North Vancouver
Murky blond colour. Aroma of tropical hops, light vanilla, light oats. Good ody structure; it has some creamy oats, quite good hopping, with some tropical accent, bitter citrus peel, and balanced bitterness, mostly coming in the finish.
Well done.

Poured from 473mL can (bb July 03, 2022). Cloudy gold with small white head. Citrus hops, orange blossom, tropical hops, hint of alcohol, pretty good.
