Footloose is a fresh and fruity Belgian tripel which has matured in French rosé wine barrels for a year and a half. The barrel aging has added some mineral elements to the beer as well as a slightly tangy finish.

Lys gulbrun tåkete med kremete hvitt skum. Lukter belgisk gjær, bondegård og noe rosiner og lys stenfrukt. Fyldig. Smaker trevirke, belgisk gjær, bæreddik og bakte epler. Middels lang

Bottle @ home. Unclear golden body under a huge white head that fades to almost nothing almost immediately. Sparkling carbonation. Aroma is fresh and citric fruity with lots of oak and a touch this typical rosé vine kind of yeast. Taste is super refreshing, generic fruity, distinct oak, some grape yest and nice funkiness. Mild and balanced bitterness. Balanced body with same, refreshing aftertaste. A nice drink for warmer days and feels more like e funky saison or Italian grape ale than Triple. Alcohol is well hideen. Love the style anyway.

On tap at Patricks. It's a foggy golden colored beer with a small white head. Fruity aroma, lots of dried fruit, with white sugar, some citrus and grass and a diminishing Gouda cheese hint. A light grassy touch too. It's full bodied, warming and nicely carbonated, semi sweet, with a decent bitterness. Fruity flavor too, grapes, melon, grass, citrus and some peach hints. White sugar and some pale malts. Long finish. An unusual trippel, but nice indeed. 240418
