Footloose is a fresh and fruity Belgian tripel which has matured in French rosé wine barrels for a year and a half. The barrel aging has added some mineral elements to the beer as well as a slightly tangy finish.

330 ml bottle, as Nøgne Ø Footloose Rosé Tripel Reserve, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 10%, IBU 30. Gusher bottle. Hazy golden to orange colour, moderate white head. Aroma of yeast, white kandij sugar syrup, oak and rosé wine. The flavour has the same elements, and is way too yeasty. Waste of money.

15.06.2024, 0,33l bottle (#120/4500) @ home:
Gusher, big foamy foreverlasting head, slightly cloudy dirty golden color. Aroma is slightly dry funky floral, yeast, flowers, leafs, herbs, pink pepper corn, orange, minerals, bark, clove, oak. Taste is slightly dry sour-ish floral, leafs, yeast, oak, fruit stones, alcohol, herbs, bark, flowers, pepper corn, orange, clove, overripe melon. Medium bitterness, slightly boozy and harsh sour-ish floral mouthfeel. Kind of interesting and all over the place weird at the same time. I think I need to try this again sometime, even age it for a while...

Drukket i solveggen på Lillehøgda. Stråfarget. Uklar. Høyt kritthvitrt luftig skum som daler sakt. Aroma av gjær & gress. Smaken har et lett vinpreg. Litt frukt & bær. Litt syrlig etter hvert. Vinpreg igjen i avslutninga. God som sommeraperitif!

Gulbrun tåkete med off-white skum. Lukter gjær og noe eple. Ble litt overrasket over smaken:-). Litt syrlig og søt. Smaker druer, urter, fruktsødme, karamell sitrus og belgisk gjær.
