0.44 l can from 'Beyond Beer', best before June 2025. Slightly hazy, very dark ruby with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, off-white head. Sweetish-malty, slightly roasty and minimally fruity aroma of caramel, toasted nuts, light chocolate and a touch of raisins. Gently sweet, malty, moderately bitter, slightly roasty and a bit fruity taste of caramel, toasted nuts, burnt bread crust, some chocolate and hints of raisins, followed by a short, gently bitter finish. Thin to medium body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Solid.

440ml can. Minimally milky, auburn colour with ruby shimmer and average to huge, firm, dense, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, beige head. Nutty, toasty, dark malty aroma, hints of Brazil nut, hazelnut, toasted nuts, minimally waxy, hoppy overtones. Taste is watery, slightly toasty, nutty and chocolately, dark malty, diluted hints of chocolate, cocoa, toasted nuts, minimally leafy, mildly bitter, hoppy counterpart, a minimally mineral touch. Watery texture, minimally dry palate, medium, mildly prickly carbonation. Nice composition, light but flavourful - pretty decent.
