The Cappucino of beers. Roasty, smooth and sweet.
Samuel Adams® Cream Stout is a true cream stout, balancing body and sweetness with the natural spiciness of grain and hand selected English hops. Our Brewers use generous portions of roasted chocolate and caramel malts as well as unroasted barley to impart a fullness of body, a roasty malt character and rich, creamy head. Its dark mahogany color make it almost as easy on the eyes as it is on the palate.

Moderate caramel malts with moderate citrus hops and some cinnamon. Pours dark brown with a brown head. Taste is watery with nutty malts preseant. Tastes a hell of a lot like Guinness Draught. Quite dry, but goes down well.

Bottle. Nicely balanced and easy to drink. Dark brown body under a creamy tan head. The aroma is filled with roasted malts with notes of caramel, dark chocolate and coffee. The flavor is moderately sweet and moderately bitter, especially in the finish. Lightly acidic. The body is light to medium with a creamy texture even though it is a bit thin. Well made.

Bottle. Pour is a dark, dark brown with about one and a half fingers of tan head. Aromas are of burnt malt, wood and earth with a touch of sweetness. Flavors are similar, but the earthy notes come out strong as does the burnt malt. At the same time there is almost a touch of a sour note that surfaces from time to time.

Dark brown ..brown sugar head..smells like chocolate milk, but with more malts, sweet malts...nice lacing forming, drippy yet solid...body is thinner than i would have guessed, but its smooth and silky...nice chocolate toffee combo....sweet malts on the finish and a touch of mocha..well crafted, but not as hearty as I’d expect a stout...light stout suits it

12oz bottle-pours a rich light tan head and dark brown color with red tint. Aroma is dark malt-molasses/cocoa. Taste is dark malt-molasses/cocoa/some coffee, secondary hops. Comes through much like a porter. Occasional. Ok carbonation.

(35.5cl bottle) Darkest brown, almost black coloured hue with a slowly lacing light-brown foamy head of medium size. Slightly sweet roast-malty aroma with chocolate and mocha. Bitter, slightly sweet flavour, medium to light bodied with a very pleasant mellow and smooth mouthfeel. Roast-malty taste with milky notes of chocolate; moderately dry and roasty bitter finish with a light hoppy blend and chocolate in the aftertaste. Well-rounded moreish Stout.
