33cl bottle from AbeerVinum, Rimini, Italy. Pours pale gold, fairly hazy, with scarce white foam. Aroma is unattractive, recalling some juice. Body is average, with quite a carbonation. Taste is very moderately sweet. Final is on the dry side.

A hazy bright golden yellow beer with a white head. Aroma of breadish sweet malt, some spices. Taste of sweet and herbal breadish malt, easy to drink.

Mild hefiger, ziemlich trockener und deutlich bitterer Beginn. Geringe Süße, süffig, eher trocken. Unspannend. 7/6/6/6/8/6

Gekocht op 18-02-2025 bij Drankencentrale Maes in Dendermonde. Mijn smaakpapillen snakten naar een laag of alcoholvrij biertje, dus proefden we op 6-4-2025 thuis een alcoholvrij biertje.
Lupulus Placebo alcoholvrij wordt gebrouwen door brouwerij Lupulus uit Bovigny (Gouvy) niet ver van de Luxemburgse grens. Deze brouwerij stond voor 2016 bekend als brouwerij Les 3 Fourquets. En werd opgericht door Pierre Gobron en Chris Bauweraerts, eveneens de oprichters van de Brouwerij van Achouffe. Nadat deze laatste in 2006 werd overgenomen door Brouwerij Duvel Moortgat werd Pierre Gobron alleen-eigenaar. In 2016 werd een nieuwe brouwerij en bottelarij in dienst genomen en werd ze herdoopt tot brouwerij Lupulus.

LUPULUS PLACEBO ALCOHOLVRIJ is een wazig lichtblond bier dat weinig wit schuim aanmaakt in een gelijkmatige vorm, het blijft maar zwak aan je glaswand kleven maar blijft toch goed stabiel. Je ziet slechts weinig fijne CO2 belletjes naar omhoog parelen.

HET AROMA:
Een zeer lichte zurige tint, ananas, beetje citrus, pompelmoes, een zoetje.
DE SMAAK:
Licht zurige toets, zoetig, beetje citrus, pompelmoes, moutje, beetje hopbitter.
HET MONDGEVOEL:
Medium body, licht bitterdroog, gladde textuur, normale koolzuur prikkel.
DE NASMAAK:
Zoetje, wat licht zuur, een lichte droge tint, citrus, een hint van koriander, het weinige bittere en de pompelmoestinten vloeien lang uit.
HET TOTAALGEVOEL:
Een harmonieus bier.
HET VERDICT:
Een degelijk alcoholvrij biertje, aangenaam vooral door de lichte pompelmoes tinten.

Bottle at home, light golden beer, small head. Aroma is sweet, malt, wort, hops. Taste is the same, sweet, wort, bitter, hops. meh

F: medium, white, average retention.
C: blonde, light hazy.
A: citrus, floral, apples, spicy.
T: light malty base, citrus, wort, bit herbal spicy, nice balanced bitterness, medium carbonation, ok for low alc., enjoyed for sure.

Bottle 33cl. @home poured into a shaker. Hazy pale yellow golden colour, fair moussy white head, mostly diminishing, thin layer remains, fair lacing. Aroma pale malt, lemon, grain, wort, spicy notes. Taste medium sweet and bitter, malty notes, grain, hint of lemon, metallic impression. Light body, watery texture, soft carbonation, quite harsh sweetbitter aftertaste, soapy and husky notes, acceptable.

Pours slightly hazed yellow. No real head. Scent is very green, raw, wort-like. Taste is a bit bitter, green beer, wort-like. Unfinished. Not awefull, but certainly not up to today's , nor Lupulus' standards.

--Bottled at PBF XIV. -- Hazy pale yellow, small head. Aroma of lime and hay. Mid sweet with light body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Slight grainy malt, some lime. Mid bitter finish.
