We recently welcomed the legendary Chris Kamara to York to brew one of his favourite drinks with us, to help raise funds for Prostate Cancer UK.

i thought premium lager was a lager with a higher abv content
pours pale yellow almost white, settles pale yellow sort of pale golden, white head. looks refreshing and light.
aroma is grassy, hay, crisp lager style hopping, quite balanced, very good and full bodied lager aroma. did not expect that
flavor is sort of standard bit soft lager but with faint citrus fruity notes like mexican lager. palate is somewhat soft, i find the beer quite pleasing and a real quencher that is a bit bready and fruity yet still light enough to go down very easily. it "feels" like a craft lager, not a macro industrial lager.

Singular can in the clearance section in Morrisons. Glad I found a single can because I don't recommend buying a 4 pack.
Thin, watery, no head or carbonation. Taste is grass, straw and a bit of lemon.
Shame because I'm a big fan of Brew York.

440ml can. Pours a light misted straw colour with modest white head. Aroma of grains, white bread, grass, hint of citrus. Taste of grains, straw, light citrus and grassy. Decent crispness. Its not bad for the style.

440ml can from Wobbly Aleways, Newcastle. Gluten Free. Straw golden coloured, bubbly white foam head and aroma of grain, hay, grass. Taste is malty, grainy, tangy, with straw, hay notes and grassy bitterness. Light to medium bodied, medium carbonation, drying tangy bitter finish. Quite OK.
