One of our first ever brews, brought back to celebrate 30 years of brewing. Celtic won Durham CAMRA Beer of the Festival in our first year of brewing in 1994 and again in 1995, putting us on the map as a new brewery. A traditional Irish red ale with crystal and dark malts creating bready and burnt toffee flavours. Complimented with traditional Northdown and Fuggles hops. Fresh berry and spice mingle with earthiness in this well balanced ale.

Cask at Darlington Snooker Club. Red amber colour, thin white foam head and aroma of malt, toffee, hops. Taste is sweetish, malty, caramel, toffee, berry hint, tangy, spicy with earthy hop bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, drying tangy bitter finish. Quite drinkable
