Rook is made with a blend of ciders from early, mid and late season apples. The earlies are Discovery, the mids are Somerset Redstreak and the lates are Kingston Black. It’s a nicely balanced, still bittersweet cider best enjoyed at room temperature.

750ml bottle from Vagrant Cider. Orangey gold colour, short-lived white head and aroma of apple, funk, caramel. Taste is sweetish, apple, fruity, funk, with woody bittersweet tannin. Medium bodied, low carbonation, dry tangy tannic finish. Quite drinkable.
