Panda at home, thanks to Ed Danlo, 29/06/24. Pitch black with a khaki cap that escapes edgewards. Nose is dark malts, molasses, singed brown sugar, toffee, red berry fruits, dates, figgy jam. Taste comprises dark malts, light booze tunes, chocolate, dates, damson jam, hint of liquorice, spice. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced spike of alcohol. Solid complex sipper.

Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers Graham! Black brown colour, afew bubbles on top and aroma of malt, figs, plums, fruit cake, liquorice. Taste is sweet, malty, spice, dried fruits, molasses, caramel, chocolate, fruit cake, damson plum, citrus hint, wood, coffee, and leathery earthy bitterness. Full bodied, soft carbonation, drying malty earthy bitter finish. Very drinkable.

5/5/2024. Bottle from the brewery. Bottle #6/20. Beer #20,000. Brewery #5,000. Pours close to black with a small frothy beige head. Aroma is plummy, damson, roasted, chocolate, caramel, liquorice, coffee, woody notes. Moderate sweetness and bitterness with nice drying tartness. Quite full bodied, smooth, light sparkling carbonation. Very nice.
