This is a single variety Colloggett Pippin cider. It has been bottle conditioned and has the definite possibility to be a little frisky so probably best to chill. As with all our stuff it’s been fermented naturally and has no sulphites. Colloggett Pippin is one of the largest cider varieties and makes a cider with a lovely tannic finish and perhaps a bit much acidity to claim full balance!

750ml bottle from Vagrant Cider. Glad I followed the advice and chilled, as the cap went off like a rocket on opening. Golden colour, foamy white head and aroma of apple, flesh, fruits, white wine hints. Taste is tart, tangy, apple flesh, green apple, with a mineral note, some fresh acidity and drying tannin. Medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, dry tart & tannic finish. Nicely drinkable.
