It has notes of fresh green cardamom, dried apple snacks, miscellaneous anise herbs, rainbow peppercorns, earthy rye bread flavors, summertime farmers’ market social hour, some rare chewing gum, and the confidence that only a sub 4% beer can deliver.

Can shared courtesy of Grumbo. Aroma very green and herbal initially. Undertones of lemon, rye bread, dried fruit, pepper, and floral. Taste is a little metallic and thin.

Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers Graham! Golden colour, bubbly white foam head and aroma of fruity yeast, citric, herbal. Taste is sourish, tea, fruits, alittle lemon rind, some yeasty and herby notes, with light bitterness. Medium bodied, light carbonation, drying funky bitter finish. Quite drinkable.

Panda at home, thanks to Graham Grumbo, 28/03/24. Clear golden to light amber with a thin off white cap that strays to the edge. Nose is hedgerow, herb, lemon rind, light yeast esters, stale bread. Taste comprises green berry must, yeast strokes, breads, herb, grains, hedgerow, apple orchard, tangy fruit must. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light tarte edge. Not a F&M classic but a flavoursome enough saison for just 3.7%.

23/3/2024. Can from RadBeer. Pours very slightly hazy pale golden with a frothy white head. Aroma is herbal, peppery, cardamom, rye bread, yeast, earthy, leafy, citrus. Moderate sweetness and medium bitterness with a slight tart edge. Moderate body, watery, fizzy. Earthy bitter finish. Nicely done.

16oz can from the brewery. Sort of out there fruitcake sour lemon aroma. Not really on the same level as the vast majority of F&M Saisons. Rye tone takes it in a weird direction, tea takes it even further out, in an earthy tangy way. Drinkable with the low ABV, but not really that great of a beer. Disappointed I purchased a 4pack.
