Pernauer Lager on Viini laagri tüüpi kergesti joodav õlu. Aroom on kargelt värske ja humalane, veidi mõrkja varjundiga ning karamelline. Maitselt kergema kehaga, tunda on veidi karamellist vahepala.

33cl bottle from Sip, Tallinn. Pours clear amber with a fast dissipating head. Malty and caramelly with herbal notes, tropical fruits and hints of citrus. Feels a bit messy and unbalanced. Thin and slightly watery with a noticeable bitterness. Not for me but drinkable anyway.

(Bottle, 0.33 l - batch 8 - BB 06.12.2018, from a supermarket in Pärnu, 20180709) The beer poured deep amber and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness, caramel and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were grass, sweetness, caramel, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was malty and bitter. A decent malty brew with nice hop bite.

Pours caramelly brownish, bit of white foam there. simple caramel nose, maybe refreshing but not many other good describers I can think of. Fresh? tastes also mainly caramelly, quite clean actually, some slight herbal caramel. Old world hops, bready, dry and long linger in the finish.
