As well as apples we also grow grapes for wine at Woolton Farm. In 2021 we fermented Broxwood Foxwhelp apple juice in contact with the skins from our Pinot Noir grapes. The resulting cider is lightly sparkling, dry, with fresh acidity. Bright green and red fruit notes and a distinctive vinous and mineral character.

750ml bottle from HOTM. Clear red-orange-amber colour, white foam head that dissipates to a thin layer and aroma of apple, berry fruit hints, red grape. Taste is tart, apple, flesh, fruity, with strawberry hint, some juicy wine notes and drying acidity. Medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, dry fleshy acidity with berry & grape hints at the finish. Nicely drinkable.
